Tipping Fees

The current breakout of the cost per ton for the Montezuma County Landfill as of January 1, 2010 is:

Payroll - 39% (22.5% is related to regulatory requirements)

General Operating – 37.1% (24.1% is related to regulatory requirements)

Capitol Expenditures – 22.9% (12% is related to regulatory requirements)

Reserve Set Aside – 10.9% (50% is related to regulatory requirements)
