Montezuma County Lodgers Tax Committee is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the committee. Members shall be individuals engaged in tourism by virtue of their profession or business with preference given for members from the lodging industry. Bylaws of the committee may be obtained from the County Administrator’s Office, Room 302, County Courthouse, 109 West Main, Cortez, Colorado.

In accordance with the provisions of the Colorado Revised Statute (C.R.S.) 30-20-100, et seq. Solid Wastes Disposal Sites and Facilities, the Board of County Commissioners will review and determine an application requested by 49 Square Ventures, Agent, Milton Williams requesting a Certificate of Designation to continue operations of a Class II composting facility approximately .8 miles north of US-160 on County Road 39. The facility currently accepts organic wastes including straw, aspen wood chips and coconut fiber from Western Excelsior in Mancos. Future operations may include acceptance of animal materials and mortalities, agricultural crop residues, manure, food wastes and green waste products. No municipal solid waste is accepted.  The property is located at 9294 County Road 39, Mancos, Colorado and is Owned/Operated by 49 Square Ventures, in the NW1/4 of Sec. 30; T.36N., R.13W., N.M.P.M. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR
INSTALLING  LIGHTS ON AND AROUND THE OUTDOOR BLEACHERS AND RODEO ARENA
AT THE MONTEZUMA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

Montezuma County is seeking proposals for professional services related to the installation of
lights for the outdoor rodeo arena and bleachers at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds 30100 US HWY 160, Cortez CO 81321. The Montezuma County Fairgrounds will be conducting a mandatory pre bid meeting at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds on April 9th, 2014 at 11 am.  Each bidder must be present at the pre bid meeting to submit a bid. 

The Administration will receive bid proposals up till 9:00 AM April 21, 2014.  The bid proposals will be opened the morning of April 21, 2014 at 11:30 am. Administration offices open at 8:30 a.m. Bids may not necessarily be awarded on the day bids are opened.   All bid proposals must be in sealed envelopes or they will not be considered.  The County desires this project to be completed as soon as possible, but no later than May 26, 2014.
