Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Program) 2010

It’s that time of the year again and Montezuma Senior Services is here to help you.  We are certified SHIP counselors.

Open enrollment for part D is between Nov. 15^th and Dec. 31^st.

This is the only time you can change your insurance plan. By now you should have received a letter from your prescription drug company telling you of any changes to your plan.

The state Department of Insurance suggests that you run your prescription drugs through the www.medicare.gov website to make sure that your current plan is the most economical.

If there is a need in Mancos and Dolores we will offer this service on an appointment basis at both senior centers.

If you are homebound and need assistance we will make an appointment to come to your home.

This service is free of charge.

If you need transportation to come to the office to run your plan it will be offered free of charge.
